I’m obese. No, really I’m technically obese. My wife did my measurements about 6 months ago and I double-checked the numbers. I’ve struggled with my diet for a few years and now that my work is largely sedentary, I find it hard to take the extra weight off.

So I’m starting the Atkins diet. The next 2 weeks I’ll be eating mostly protein and working out (almost) every day. After it’s over I’ll get to slowly let carbs re-enter my life, but I’m hoping to get weaned off carbs for the most part. Then I’ll get to eat healthy and yummy food again.

May God help me (please).

It’s day one and I’m craving monkey bread, muffins, and pancakes. Why are all those breakfast foods?
