P90X

Most of the time, when a husband or wife purchases a treadmill or fitness program for their loved one for their birthday, it is considered taboo. I’m sure most guys would be offended if they received a workout program for their birthday, but not this husband. I’ve been asking for it for a long time. Literally. My wonderful wife (who happens to be a personal trainer) surprised me on my birthday with the P90X fitness program that I’ve been talking about for well over a year. We’ve each seen the infomercials in their entirety at least four or five times. One of the things that really drew me to the program was the youth minister on the infomercial, who was doing push ups with his two kids on his back. I agreed that we need not only spiritual health, but physical health as well. I’m more than a little excited about this.

So, in a week or two, when I have decided that I am ready, I will embark upon my journey toward a better me with P90X. I have to work on the fitness test and get a good base to start from first. I’ll be sure to post updates as I go along.
